Our founder has been that child. Born in Barbados, raised in South Africa, she arrived at a British boarding school at eleven years old with no roadmap and no one ahead of her who had done it. She crossed into American prep school at thirteen, and again at sixteen. She knows what those first weeks actually feel like. She knows what nobody thinks to tell the parents until it is too late.
The families Meridian works with already know what they want for their children. They do not need convincing. They need someone who has lived this path, understands the process from the inside, and will be honest with them at every step. That is what this practice was built to be.
